  • Alex Wade

Did a little shoot with auther Alex Wade the other day to go with an interview he's done for Slide magazine. Alex has just put out his new book "Surf Nation" which I've got a few pics in. He also does quite a bit of freelance writing for some of the National newspapers based around surfing.

  • Unexpected little sesh

It's been so blo%dy miserable recently and the waves have been pretty crappy on top of that, so last friday when we finally had a bit of sunshine I was determined to get some shots. As has been the case for about the last 5 years it feel like, there were waves but the winds were onshore. Nevertheless we did a little shoot at a mushy Sennen, and then finally gave up and went to check a more sheltered cove. We were in luck, the wind wasn't getting in there and the light was great... so some decent shots were got and the next morning, a few more pretty nice ones were bagged at Sennen before the wind got up. All the pics will go on the site soonish, once the mags have had a gander, but in the meantime I can feel fairly smug to get an unexpected little sesh when it seems all the other photogs wrote the weekend off.

  • Done and Dusted

Well that's another job finished for Wavelength Mag. A 72 hour trip to St Agnes, coming out in the next issue. It was pretty bumpy surf in the end but I can't complain because the sun came out for the first time in ages so the light was quite nice. All in all it's been a hectic few weeks with various shoots for people and lots of deadlines, so I reckon I've got a day now until this new little swell turns up. Time to put me feet oop!_MG_0333
